About Me

Çetin Tüker is a researcher of design education and video game developer specializing in teaching and instructional planning of 3D animation, interactive multimedia, video game design, and motion graphics design courses and curriculums.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate education in METU Department of Architecture in 1992 and 1996, and also completed his dissertation for Doctor of Arts degree in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Graphic Design in 2009 about design education planning. Currently, he is a Ph.D.-C in Yıldız Technical University Architecture Department, Architecture in Computer Environment Ph.D. Program.

From 1993 to current, he has been awarded several times in animation, web design, 3D environment design, and in several national architectural design competitions. He also worked as a 3D animator in game design and post-production fields. His works and articles about 3D environment design were published in several local and international magazines and books. In 2007, his first book 'Tasarımdan Uygulamaya 3D Mantığı ( From Design to Application 3D Environment Design), and in 2007, and 2008, from The Gnomon Workshop, his education DVD's 'Introduction to 3DS Max' and 'Fluid Simulation with GLU 3D' have been published.

These were followed by 2 book chapters in books named 'Saraydan Sokağa Oyun' and 'Video Games Around the World' published by Kabalcı Kitabevi and MIT Press. His teaching career, which was started in 1994, currently continues in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Graphic Design as an Associate Professor.
